Two weeks away made me realise that I’m scared.  Saw my life again, signed the coward that I am.

Long drives to Birmingham, we’ll miss you man.

Went to Hindsights and Nai Harvest (+ Cry Wolf) at The Bracket in Margate tonight.

Pretty empty but couldn’t have been better really, NH and Hindsights were wonderful and Cry Wolf as always were very silly. Definitely think The Bracket should host some more shows.

So I went to a gig with Nick, Joe and Dan in this awesome cafe/art space today. It was put on by zine & not heard, and the line up was actually ridiculous, with Nai Harvest, Ten Speed Bicycle, Speedboat Salesmen, Sunday League, Reno Dakota, Football Etc, Joie De Vivre, Cycle Schmeichel and even more. The atmosphere of the whole show was excellent, and everyone got on really well. Roll on the next one!

(Football Etc. and Nai Harvest were especially brilliant).

if you like algernon cadwallader, snowing and american football, check these guys out!

Nai Harvest - Red Letter Day, On Play

probably the best UK emo band alongside TSB, give the whole EP a listen!

Nai Harvest - ”Crossing Days Off My Calendar”

“My head is a mess again, my life is a life again, the sun revived me until next year when i start again”

Listen to this band! You can download their EP for free and it’s fucking good so there’s really no reason not to. It’s so nice to hear people from the UK playing this kind of music, and the Sheffield accent the vocals are sung in works really well with it. They’re gonna be part of a four-way split EP coming out on Party Wound Productions called ‘Far Away Friends’ which also features songs from Manbearpig, Cavalcades and For This World Is Hollow And These Hands Have Touched The Sky, you can pre-order it here for the humble price of three English pounds.

 i love nai harvest !
